Warning light came on after filling up on 2001 1.4 Auto, check engine light.         checked with dealer couldn`t tell problem, any ideas??Please.

Was the petrol cap back on tightly?  If the emmisions system cant create a vacuum it can cause an error code.

The dealer if they had connected to the diagnostic computer should have been able to tell you the code that was stored.
