Can anyone help me i have just acquired a Polo SDI 1.9 i have tried to get a Haynes but they do not do for this model  I am having problems with the temp guage i bought a new thermostat but can't find the housing to remove it to test.

Hi - you don't mention the year / engine code. If it is like the Golf SDI, then it is bottom left of the engine (looking at the front) sandwiched behind the alternator and above the PAS pump.
