Hi again i have a 1989 VW POLO and when i start it up it coughs and splutters for abit then ticks over fine untill i set off and when i set off in low gears and low revs it judders and eventually cuts out.
I have changed the distribuator cap and inline fuel filter and also a new fuel pump but the problem is still there.

Its fine in when im running on high revs and if i have to brake hard it just cuts out.
It cut out this morning and as i was facing up hill it wouldnt start untill i had turned it around the fuel tank is full im just running out of ideas.

I had it in the garage on saturday about the auto choke and they said they didnt find anything other that its due for a cam belt change and could do with a new water pump.

Any ideas. Angry

Could be many things - air leak on carb base / manifold. muck in carb and jets. mixture set wrongly are just somethings to check.
